A Richard Sachs Retrospective with House Industries

by | Aug 23, 2014

Rapha Cycle Club New York and design firm House Industries host a retrospective for the world famous bike maker Richard Sachs. Sachs has become somewhat of a cult-like figure in the cycling world — his bikes are basically unobtainable due to the extremely long waiting list to buy his work.

Rapha’s New York shop has been filled with rare cycles and Sachs/House Industries co-branded product including race gear, tees, water bottles and athletic socks. The shop’s back space hosts display case tables filled with Sachs’ ephemera — vintage design notes, stickers, bike parts, old interview excerpts, and more. The retrospective is open now and runs through September 21.
