FAQ

How long will it take?

I currently work at a pace building 5-6 frames per month. In addition to pending orders, I leave room for the occasional frame repair, an emergency or three, and the annual batch of frames I’ll need to make for my cyclocross team. With the number of orders currently in the queue, the estimated time for delivery of new commissions is seven to eight years. Please contact me for the proper order forms.

PS And don’t forget my pals!

How much does it cost?

A signed form along with a $400, non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is due to confirm your order.

This deposit secures your position on the wait list. Due to the current lead time, I cannot quote a final sales price. The current base price for frames now being delivered is $4400. Once a place in line is secured with a deposit, no further monies are due until frames and bicycles are assembled. Packing and shipping, if needed, are billed separately, at cost.

Staying in touch?

I have reconciled that the primary method of staying in touch (me with you – you with me…) is email. Since Y2K, its clear that the path is decidedly electronic. Despite an insistence that your orders and down payments be submitted via U.S.P.S. or similar, and that I employ this same method to send out confirmations and thank you’s, email is the de facto standard method of communication. To this end, when I have questions for you, or when I have a communique to send out to all in my queue, I use email. If you have to edit an order, are looking for status updates, or need an opinion, email me. IMPORTANT: If you have changed your email address since your order was placed, and/or if you have multiple email addresses, and/or if you don’t check your emails regularly or at all, you may miss messages from me. If I can’t find you, or if emails bounce or go unanswered, I may consider you lost or MIA until such time that you remember that you have an order pending. Staying in touch is a two way street.

I do my best to send emails-to-all in my queue several times a season. I hope you are receiving them.

Thank you.
