Respect for this whole situation.

Josh is a class act, though racing against him every week here in VT, and the way that he carries himself with his sponsors.

I still do not understand a person who is sponsored(employed) by a company, and chooses not to represent. It is a two way street, and people seem to have forgotten this. Though these ideas seem to have come down from the top ranks where personal sponsorship out trumps a team sponsorship.

Unfortunate that it came to this but it sounds like this was the most "honorable" resolution for all involved. Appreciate your integrity and honesty in protecting your sponsors' interests, your fans expectations, and the high standards of the team.

Richard-

My already very high respect for you has moved up another notch.

While I think it's sad that it's ending this way, I also believe that Amy should understand that as long as the Richard Sachs is synonymous with uncompromising standards you have little choice in the matter. A sponsorship contract is just that. She also seems not to grasp the position she put you in by making the change without notice or permission.

Others may fault you for what they see as a "my way or the highway" stance, but I find it refreshing that someone still takes personal integrity so seriously. As Confucious said "one who sacrifices his principles for his convenience soon finds he has neither. atmo.
