Born and raised in Connecticut, I would ride my bike through the small town of Chester several times a week as I lived only a couple of miles away in the town of Killingworth.  As I rode by his bike shop one afternoon, I decided to stop in.  That was the first time I met Richard Sachs.  After telling my wife about Richard and about the bikes he handcrafts, that coming Christmas there was a small box under the tree with a pin in it that had the Richard Sachs logo on it.  As I looked in amazement and asked, "What is this about?", she told me to go see Richard and be fitted for a new frame.  That was 15 years ago.

I now live in Tucson, Arizona with my wife.  My Richard Sachs frame draws attention wherever I ride.  It is still as responsive as the first day I rode it.  Everyone everywhere appreciates and recognizes this master frame builders work.
