Delirious
by DFB, Esq. Mon Cher M. Sachs: I was unable to send a thank-you e-note timely because I was delirious with delight. The following is not an exaggeration; you may consider it the objective comments of a very satisfied customer: I've owned a lot of bikes; I still own a lot of bikes. I've had a lot of frames built. Many Paramounts, Pogliaghi, Guerciotti, Mercian, and Merckyx. Bob Jackson. Woodrup. Rivendell. Atlantis; Heron; Ramboulliet. Old Steel Treks; fancy new Aluminum high-zooters. Some others I can't recall. Until yesterday, I had never seen a frame that instantly surpassed all my expectations. My satisfaction and pleasure with the frame rises to a level unseemly in my otherwise staid personage; it only increases as I look more upon the frame. I have never seen another material object that so thoroughly exudes quality and workmanship. The paintwork, lugs, tubes and detailing are excellent and almost eerily flawless. I ran the frame down to my LBS; they dropped the new $3800 Pinarello frame on the floor to rush over (well, that part is an exaggeration -- they didn't drop the frame on the floor.) So, yep, I got it all right. It's pretty cool; I'll drop you a line after it's built up. "Thanks" is an inadequate word, but there you have it. DFB, Esq.
