My dream was to have a custom made bike.  After a lot of research I saw an article in a bicycling magazine on Richard Sachs.  One thing that intrigued me was that his frames were hand-built by him alone—a one man shop!  I drove from Pittsburgh, PA to the quaint little town of Chester, Connecticut to meet him and be sized for the bike of my dreams. 

I've had my Richard Sachs bicycle since 1993.  As soon as I got on the bike and starting riding it, I was in heaven.  It fit me like a glove.  It handled perfectly.  I loved my bike so much that I had Richard build another one for me in 2000.  The new bike with all its updates was fantastic!  You simply cannot have enough Richard Sachs Bicycles.  I return to Connecticut each year to visit with Richard.
